TRACEY WEBSTER
Owner, Personal Trainer, and Physical Therapist Assistant
Tracey Webster is a highly dedicated Personal Trainer and accomplished Physical Therapist Assistant who has made significant contributions to the field of personal training. With a remarkable 16 years of experience as a certified trainer and 9 years as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, Tracey brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to both fields. Her passion for fitness and commitment to helping individuals achieve their goals have solidified her reputation as an exceptional trainer and PTA.

Education
Born and raised in Southern Maryland, Tracey graduated from La Plata High School in 2005, where she developed her love for strength and conditioning through excelling as a varsity athlete in field hockey, softball, and track. In 2009, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science – Health Fitness Specialist from East Carolina University.

Motivated to expand her knowledge and skill set, she went on to obtain an Associate's Degree in Applied Science through the CACHE Physical Therapist Assistant program at College of Southern Maryland/Anne Arundel Community College, becoming a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in 2016.
Experience
Tracey's journey as a Certified Personal Trainer began immediately after her graduation in 2009, when she received her certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In addition to training clients in-home, her commitment to helping others led her to spend a couple of years as a Rehabilitation Technician at a local outpatient Physical Therapy clinic, where she played a vital role in assisting patients through their rehab exercise programs.

Tracey later went on to become a Recreation Assistant at Naval Base Indian Head. In this role, she not only led fitness classes but also developed tailored exercise programs for military and civilian patrons, addressing both their fitness goals and orthopedic conditions.

Recognizing the impact she could make on a larger scale, Tracey has further refined her skills as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Southern Maryland's outpatient clinical settings. This experience has provided her with a deep understanding of the physical body and its healing processes, which she seamlessly integrates into her personal training approach.

Notably in 2019, Tracey developed and lead the personal training program for SMECO employees as part of their healthcare incentive program. Through this initiative, she crafted individualized fitness plans that empowered employees to develop healthy habits, resulting in increased productivity and decreased absences in the workplace.

Fueled by her drive to empower her clients, she established a home-gym, T-Web Fitness, in 2019, and has been passionately guiding individuals towards their peak performance ever since. Her clientele has encompassed a diverse range of individuals, and she specializes in pre/post-operative rehabilitation, sports performance, strength training, corrective exercises, and general fitness. Expanding in 2023 to T-Web Fitness & Physical Therapy, she is now providing services in La Plata and Bryans Road.
Philosophy
Tracey firmly believes that building a strong foundation is essential before advancing to higher levels of fitness. She understands the tendency for athletes and individuals in general to engage in activities that surpass their body's readiness. With a keen eye for detail and an emphasis on proper technique, she ensures that her clients avoid injuries and setbacks. Emphasizing the importance of building solid foundations and fundamental skills, Tracey adopts an integral approach with individuals of all fitness levels. Tracey's unwavering dedication to health and fitness is not limited to her own journey; she strives to instill this passion in others, inspiring them to live their lives to the fullest.
Personal Life
Outside of her professional endeavors, Tracey wholeheartedly embraces an active lifestyle and the great outdoors. Whether she's flipping 300lb tractor tires or slinging sledgehammers, her adventurous spirit thrives through activities such as snowboarding, paddleboarding, and slow-pitch softball. Traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and any water-related adventures are also among her greatest joys.
